Job Summary

Alltex is seeking a Legal Assistant to support delinquent tax litigation processes from suit filing through judgment. This role involves preparing, processing, and filing legal documents, and offers a strong opportunity for both experienced professionals and entry-level candidates eager to gain legal industry experience.

Candidate Requirements

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

Preferred:

• Bilingual in Spanish
• Experience as a collector or in a related field
• Familiarity with the Texas Property Tax system
