Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Automotive Technician role based in Conroe, TX. The Automotive Technician will perform routine maintenance services such as inspections, oil changes, and fluid checks, as well as diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues across a variety of vehicle makes and models. Day-to-day responsibilities include completing work orders, performing suspension and drivetrain repairs, troubleshooting engine and electrical problems, and ensuring all safety and quality standards are met.
The role also involves communicating clearly with service advisors, maintaining accurate repair documentation, and keeping the work area clean, organized, and compliant with shop policies.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Vehicle Maintenance, Oil Changes, and general Maintenance & Repair
- Hands-on experience with Automotive Repair across multiple makes and models
- Knowledge and practical ability in Suspension inspection, diagnosis, and repair
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools, service manuals, and automotive software systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and repair procedures
- Commitment to safety practices and adherence to shop and regulatory guidelines
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; formal automotive training or ASE certifications are a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in an automotive or diesel repair facility preferred
