Bright Horizons is seeking a full‑time early childhood teacher to work with infants, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Responsibilities- Create hands‑on activities that meet the developmental needs and interests of the children.
- Maintain open communication with parents and share their child’s daily milestones.
- Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
Candidates must pass required state and company background checks and meet the following education and experience requirements:
- Be 18 years of age with a high‑school diploma or GED.
- Have college‑level coursework in early‑childhood education, CDA, or hold an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in early education or a related field (preferred).
- Possess at least one year of professional experience teaching in child‑care, daycare, or preschool settings (preferred).
- Demonstrate knowledge of Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) (required).
Employees must comply with all applicable physical, safety, and training requirements. Job duties include:
- Frequently lift, carry, or hold children weighing 10–40 pounds; occasionally lift or carry more than 40 pounds.
- Demonstrate a full range of motion to lift, reach, squat, climb, sit, and otherwise fully participate in activities.
- Respond immediately and appropriately to multiple or unexpected situations or emergencies.
- Maintain mental and physical alertness and an appropriate level of energy to perform essential job requirements.
This position requires in‑person work in the Conroe, TX area.
CompensationThe hourly rate for this position is $15.85 to $21.35 per hour.
