Construction Superintendent

Solid Foundations is a Houston based turnkey concrete contractor supporting residential builders across the greater Houston area. This is a full-time, hybrid superintendent role based in south Houston with opportunities to work remotely for specific tasks. The superintendent will oversee construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards. Responsibilities include coordination with crews and suppliers, monitoring progress, enforcing safety standards, and addressing any issues that may arise during construction. Additionally, the superintendent will ensure compliance with regulations, maintain project documentation, and facilitate communication with the builders.

• Strong leadership and team management skills, including experience overseeing construction crews and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project scheduling, budgeting, and regulations.
• Technical knowledge in construction methods, materials, and equipment, with the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Effective communication and problem solving skills to manage on site challenges and maintain clear project coordination.
• Familiarity with google sheets and tools to facilitate project management and reporting.
• Ability to work both on site and remotely, managing hybrid work environments effectively.
• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry is preferred.
