Board Certified/Eligible in Emergency Medicine required State License:
Active Texas license required (or Compact License)

Certifications:

ACLS, ATLS, and PALS required For boarded EM physicians: ACLS and PALS must be current; ATLS can be expired but needs a copy of the card Staffing Model:

Annual patient volume: 23,000 Average patients per day: 22 Percentage of EMS Transfers: 2.35% Percentage of Admitted Patients: 16.03% Trauma Level Designation:
Level 4 No scribe coverage Facility: 15 ED beds, 3 Fast Track beds Special services include OB/GYN backup, with consults from various specialties (FM, IM, General Surgery, Urology, Cardiology, ENT, , Neurology, GI) EMR System: PICIS Onboarding: EMR training provided by the Medical Director Orientation: 1-2 hours before shift Yearly PPD, FLU vaccination, and COVID-19 documentation required Travel Logistics:
