• Active state licensure: Current unencumbered Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license issued by the Texas Board of Nursing.
• Specialty certification: Active national certification as a PMHNP‑BC.
• Prescriptive authority: Valid Texas prescriptive authority with full Schedule II‑V registration.
• Federal credentials: Active, unrestricted DEA registration for controlled substances.
• Educational background: MSN or DNP from an accredited psychiatric nurse practitioner program.
• Collaborative agreement: Provides a fully established collaborating physician.

• Active medical licensure: Current unrestricted license to practice medicine from the Texas Medical Board.
• Board eligibility or certification: Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry (ABPN).
• Federal credentials: Active, unrestricted DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances.
• Educational background: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completed residency: Completed an ACGME‑accredited residency training program in psychiatry.
