Make a positive impact supporting students across elementary and middle school levels as a contract counselor in a vibrant district near Montgomery, Texas. Qualifications and Experience
  • Active LPC license in Texas required
  • Previous experience working in school counseling or educational settings strongly preferred
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to quickly build rapport with students and staff across various age groups
  • Organized, reliable, and comfortable managing a diverse caseload
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver counseling services to a variety of elementary and middle school students, with a caseload estimated at 30 students across up to 5 campuses
  • Collaborate with administrators, teachers, and parents to support students academic and social development
  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions tailored to students needs
  • Develop and implement interventions and strategies designed to enhance student wellness and success
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records and adhere to district and legal guidelines
  • Participate in staff meetings and relevant training sessions as needed

This is a part-time contract position (16 hours per week) running from August 2025 to May 2027, offering flexible hours that allow you to balance personal and professional priorities while making a meaningful impact.
