Group/Grade: 5-6

Assist the campus administration in the management of students who have been removed from the regular classroom for disciplinary reasons.

• Assist administration in the supervision of students who have been removed from the classroom for violations of the Student Code of Conduct.
• Help maintain a neat and orderly classroom
• Help keep administrative records and prepare required reports.
• Collect student instructional materials and route to the appropriate staff member.
• Communicate with parents when appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Some experience working with children

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Texas educational aide certificate (must obtain within
  30days of employment)

• Ability to work well with children
• Ability to communicate effectively

Mental Demands/ Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written); interpret policy, procedures, and data; maintain emotional control under stress. Moderate standing, stooping, bending, and lifting.

Pay Grade IS-3 - Minimum hourly rate - $16.00
