The JobWe are looking for a HSE Manager for our Conroe, Texas plant.
Some of your main duties & responsibilities:
- Conduct regular safety inspections and site visits to ensure adherence to HSE regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with various departments to develop, implement, and update HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
- Assist in the facilitation and coordination of HSE training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety and environmental risks.
- Work closely with project teams in high‑paced construction zones to ensure safety protocols are being followed.
- Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and near‑misses, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
- Participate in HSE audits and collaborate with the team to implement improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in safety and environmental management.
You’ll succeed if:
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3‑5 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong preference for experience in chemical manufacturing or esterification processes.
- Demonstrated experience conducting safety inspections and writing safety policies.
- Proven ability to facilitate HSE training programs and promote a safety‑first culture.
- Familiarity with OSHA standards and other relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in fast‑paced, high‑demand environments, especially within active construction zones.
