The Job

We are looking for a HSE Manager for our Conroe, Texas plant.

Some of your main duties & responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular safety inspections and site visits to ensure adherence to HSE regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with various departments to develop, implement, and update HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Assist in the facilitation and coordination of HSE training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety and environmental risks.
  • Work closely with project teams in high‑paced construction zones to ensure safety protocols are being followed.
  • Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and near‑misses, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Participate in HSE audits and collaborate with the team to implement improvements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in safety and environmental management.
Who are we looking for?

You’ll succeed if:

  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3‑5 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong preference for experience in chemical manufacturing or esterification processes.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting safety inspections and writing safety policies.
  • Proven ability to facilitate HSE training programs and promote a safety‑first culture.
  • Familiarity with OSHA standards and other relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast‑paced, high‑demand environments, especially within active construction zones.
