We are looking for a
Some of your main duties & responsibilities:
* Maintain electrical systems and instrumentation for the blending, bottling, warehousing and ongoing
construction of a chemical esterification plant with a startup of 2026.
* Oversee the calibration and maintenance of instruments, ensuring accurate monitoring and control of
variables like pressure, flow, and temperature in automated processes.
* Follows the predefined preventative maintenance schedule for various equipment.
* Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation issues to minimize downtime and optimize production
efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, NEC (National Electric Code), and other relevant safety and
regulatory standards for electrical and instrumentation systems.
* Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to support continuous improvement efforts on the
bottling line.
* Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for electrical systems and instruments.
* Analyze performance data and recommend adjustments or upgrades to enhance process efficiency,
reliability, and safety.
* Assist with the installation of new equipment and the integration of instrumentation and controls into
existing systems.
* Provide technical support during HSE audits and ensure proper documentation of all electrical and
instrumentation work.
You'll succeed if:
You have
* 3-5 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering within a manufacturing environment, ideally in chemical production.
* Hands-on experience with bottling lines or similar high-speed automated production systems.
* Proficiency with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA systems, and instrumentation used in chemical manufacturing.
* Certifications in electrical safety or instrumentation (e.g., ISA Certified Control Systems Technician).
* Strong knowledge of OSHA, NEC, and other relevant safety and electrical standards.
* Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work in high-pressure environments to resolve issues quickly.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with production, maintenance, and engineering teams.
* Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, instrumentation engineering, or a related field or High School Diploma with a combination of relevant work experience
* Experience in chemical manufacturing environment.
* Familiarity with automation and process control systems specific to bottling and packaging operations.
