E I Technician

Oleon is looking for an E I Technician at CONROE CDI.

• Maintain electrical systems and instrumentation for the blending, bottling, warehousing and ongoing construction of a chemical esterification plant with a startup of 2026.
• Oversee the calibration and maintenance of instruments, ensuring accurate monitoring and control of variables like pressure, flow, and temperature in automated processes.
• Follow the predefined preventative maintenance schedule for various equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation issues to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, NEC (National Electric Code), and other relevant safety and regulatory standards for electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to support continuous improvement efforts on the bottling line.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for electrical systems and instruments.
• Analyze performance data and recommend adjustments or upgrades to enhance process efficiency, reliability, and safety.
• Assist with the installation of new equipment and the integration of instrumentation and controls into existing systems.
• Provide technical support during HSE audits and ensure proper documentation of all electrical and instrumentation work.

• 3‑5 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering within a manufacturing environment, ideally in chemical production.
• Hands‑on experience with bottling lines or similar high‑speed automated production systems.
• Proficiency with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA systems, and instrumentation used in chemical manufacturing.
• Certifications in electrical safety or instrumentation (e.g., ISA Certified Control Systems Technician).
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, NEC, and other relevant safety and electrical standards.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work in high‑pressure environments to resolve issues quickly.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross‑functionally with production, maintenance, and engineering teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, instrumentation engineering, or a related field or high school diploma with a combination of relevant work experience.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with automation and process control systems specific to bottling and packaging operations.
