- High school diploma or associate’s degree.
- Two (2) years of related experience in loan administration, office operations, or customer service with exposure to financial services, mortgage, title insurance industry, or experience deemed equivalent at the discretion of Capital Farm Credit.
- An entry level position responsible for basic loan administration, loan accounting, content management, credit support, and other office administration work.
- Administers simple to moderately complex loan portfolios and effectively responds to customer service inquiries on a routine basis.
- Supports business development efforts by providing excellent and knowledgeable customer service as a first line of contact via face‑to‑face interactions and/or telephone conversations.
- Communicates with external parties and internal departments involved in the customer and loan relationship.
- Provides excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering phones, and facilitating communications between internal departments and external parties.
- Under direction and oversight, sends loan applications, reviews completed applications for accuracy and completeness, and communicates with applicants on additional needs.
- Under direction and oversight, enters pertinent loan data into loan origination systems, including financial information such as balance sheets and other data required.
- Acquires credit bureau reports and generates credit scores.
- Conducts searches within various systems to ensure compliance related to entity tax status and OFAC standings.
- Drafts and sends communication of initial credit decision to applicants and assists with communicating additional needs and updates through the due diligence process.
- Requests and develops basic knowledge of title commitment and supporting documents from title companies.
- Reviews files in the loan origination system to identify errors and ensure accuracy prior to loan committee approval.
- Coordinates loan closings, assembles, reviews, and delivers closing packet for execution.
- Onboards new loans into the loan accounting system and disburses loan proceeds.
- Monitors borrower loan conditions and documents the file accordingly.
- Maintains electronic loan files, sends original documents to the Collateral Custodian, and works with internal departments to finalize and certify loans.
- Processes loan payments, disbursements, and related tasks necessary to service the loan portfolio.
- Assists with credit servicing actions, reviews executed servicing action documentation, and updates accounting systems.
- Develops foundational knowledge of cooperative structure, patronage program, and CFC product offerings.
- Studies required procedures, policies, processes, internal controls, and regulations.
- Assists with general office administration and operates a variety of standard office equipment.
- Computer systems and office equipment used for file management and retrieval of business information.
- Documentation requirements for title insurance, deeds of trust, UCC financing statements, crop insurance, and flood insurance.
- Professional, oral, and written correspondence principles.
- Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office applications.
- Organization and time management practices.
