Kidney Specialists of North Houston is seeking dedicated Advanced Practice Providers to join its growing team. Candidates at all experience levels are welcome, with strong preference given to those with dialysis or nephrology backgrounds. Comprehensive training is available to support a seamless transition for providers new to nephrology, making this an excellent opportunity to grow within a supportive, patient-focused environment.

Hiring Package
  • Competitive salary + possible productivity bonus
  • 5 days a week
  • 2 half-days in the office
  • Rounding at dialysis units daily
  • Hospital rounding
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree program in nursing or physician assistant studies, with nationally recognized course content, formal clinical preparation with minimum hour standards per program requirements
  • Competencies in advanced health assessment, physical examination, diagnosis, planning, and managing care including pharmacotherapeutics.
  • Provide nursing expertise in diagnosis and treatment to prevent, remediate, or alleviate illness and promote health, thus resulting in improved patient outcomes.
  • Knowledge of patient assessment techniques including taking medical histories, performing physicals, evaluating health status including state of wellness, and compliance with care recommendations.
  • Knowledge of diagnosing and treating medical problems and developing care plans.
  • Knowledge of documentation in medical records in a confidential manner.
