- Provide personal care and hygiene assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and feeding
- Assist with transfers, ambulation, and mobility (including use of assistive devices)
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishwashing, and general tidying
- Prepare simple meals and assist with grocery shopping or errands as needed
- Accompany clients to doctor’s appointments or community outings when appropriate
- Observe and report changes in the client’s physical, emotional, or mental condition to the supervisor
- Maintain a safe and clean environment in the client's home
- Follow care plan instructions and health/safety protocols
- Respond promptly and responsibly in emergency situations
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 6 months of experience in caregiving, home healthcare, hospitality, or a related field preferred
- Certification as a CNA or HHA preferred but not required
- Physical ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs and perform essential job functions
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Compassionate, respectful, and professional demeanor
- Willingness to adhere to health, safety, and infection control standards
