Job Title: Occupational Therapist Clin Spec

Location: The Woodlands, Outpatient Building

Contract Length: Covering multiple FMLs, flexible workdays/hours, likely 10 or 12-hour shifts Monday–Friday

Job Summary: The Occupational Therapist Clin Spec will plan, evaluate, organize, and implement Occupational Therapy (OT) treatment programs in a developmentally and age-appropriate manner for patients ranging from neonates to adulthood. Responsibilities include completing patient evaluations, developing individualized care plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, monitoring patient responses, recommending adaptive equipment, and terminating treatment when appropriate. The role requires advanced clinical competencies in a specialty area and effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Required Qualifications:

• Active OT license in Texas
• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in pediatric, women's health, orthopedics, or sports medicine, or 1 year of residency in these areas

• Pediatric experience in an outpatient setting
• Knowledge of rehabilitative care for acute and chronic conditions
• Understanding of development from neonates to adulthood
• Exceptional performance appraisal ratings
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with basic office equipment (fax, copier, PC)

• Onsite position with remote access for note completion if needed
• Flexible scheduling to accommodate coverage needs
