Ultrasound Technician

Vascular Sonographer | Davis Vein and Vascular | Houston, TXUS Heart and Vascular is in need of a PRN Vascular Sonographer to join our team at Davis Vein and Vascular in North Houston, TX.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform vascular ultrasound examinations including lower extremity arterial, venous including insufficiency/ reflux scans, carotids, ABIs and abdominal studies.

Assist physicians in vein procedures such as vein mapping, vein ablations, sclerotherapy, and ultrasound-guided access. Experience preferred, not required.

Maintain accurate patient records and ensure high-quality imaging for diagnostic interpretation.

Educate and prepare patients for vein procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.

Knowledge, Skills and Requirements Must have excellent interpersonal and critical thinking skills.

Must be experienced and work independently in a very busy private vascular practice setting.

BLS/CPR preferred

Active credentials by either ARDMS or CCI.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday – 2-3 days a week is preferred.

No nights/no weekends

Sonographer will need to be available to travel to different office locations as needed.
