ACT Adult Mental Health Specialist
The ACT Adult Mental Health Specialist provides ongoing monitoring, recovery planning, support and assistance to individuals served with chronic and persistent mental illness.
This position's duties will include the following:
- Provide psychosocial rehab and case management as identified in the Person-Centered Recovery Plan for independent living and community inclusion.
- Works under close supervision of the ACT Coordinator and under the ACT Fidelity requirements.
- Requires the ability to adhere to a demanding daily schedule.
- Responsible for providing all services using a trauma informed approach: creating a safe environment based on trust, transparency, collaboration, mutuality, and peer support while encouraging empowerment, and acceptance of voice and choice of individuals served, and demonstrating respect for cultural, historical, and gender issues.
- Travel to clients' homes and various Tri-County facilities required.

Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a Behavioral Science field or related discipline
- Must qualify as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) under Texas Administrative Code (TAC) credentialing requirement (Rule §353.1415)**

- Applicants must have a valid drivers license and be insurable through Tri-County.
- 2 years experience in human service field preferred

Compensation:
Hourly rate: $25.85
Annual equivalent: $53,768
