Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled, dependable, and compassionate PRN (On-Call) Weekend Caregiver to provide exceptional care and support to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate is flexible, professional, and able to accept shifts on short notice while maintaining the highest standards of client care. This role requires experience assisting seniors and individuals with disabilities, chronic illnesses, or recovering from medical procedures.
The successful candidate must be adaptable to varying client needs and available to work daytime, evening, overnight, and/or extended weekend shifts as needed.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide personalized care according to each client's service plan.
Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including:
Bathing
Dressing
Grooming
Toileting
Mobility and transfers
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding when necessary.
Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, dishes, and maintaining a safe living environment.
Monitor and report changes in client condition, behavior, or safety concerns.
Remind clients to take medications as directed.
Assist with ambulation, fall prevention, and mobility support.
Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and community activities when needed.
Maintain accurate documentation and timely communication with supervisors and family members.
Respond professionally and effectively to unexpected situations or emergencies.
Follow all company policies, HIPAA regulations, and client confidentiality requirements.
Minimum of 6+ months caregiving, home care, CNA, HHA, or related healthcare experience.
Valid driver's license and reliable & insured transportation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift (up to 25 lbs.), transfer, and assist clients safely.
Smartphone and ability to use scheduling and communication applications.
Experience with dementia, Alzheimer's care, hospice care, Parkinson's disease, stroke recovery, or mobility-impaired clients.
Experience with gait belts, Hoyer lifts, and transfer assistance.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 25 pounds.
Ability to assist clients with transfers and mobility support.
Ability to perform physical caregiving tasks for extended periods.
