Travel CT Technician (13‑week Assignment)

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technician for a 13‑week travel assignment in Conroe, Texas. The role includes operating computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and compliance with radiation standards.

Required Qualifications
  • One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
  • Valid radiology license in compliance with state regulations
  • Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current ARRT certification
  • Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
Responsibilities
  • Operate CT equipment to produce cross‑sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue.
  • Prepare and explain procedures to patients and position them appropriately.
  • Set technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
  • Provide high‑quality images to radiologists for interpretation.
  • Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot CT equipment.
  • Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services.
  • Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities.
Physical, Interpersonal, and Technical Skills
  • Work stationary and move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, bend.
  • Effective communication with diverse personnel.
  • Fine manipulation and motor skills for procedures and equipment use.
  • Handle frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, and work with variable supervision.
  • Visual acuity and appropriate sensory function.
