Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in the Conroe area for the upcoming school year

This is an excellent opportunity for SLPAs who are passionate about helping students succeed and want to work in a structured, team-focused school environment.

About the Opportunity

As an SLPA with PDS, you'll work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver therapy services to students with a variety of communication needs.

You'll gain valuable hands-on experience while being supported by an experienced clinical and administrative team.

Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field
  • Active Texas SLPA license (or ability to obtain)
  • Previous pediatric or school-based experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
  • Provide direct therapy services following plans created by the supervising SLP
  • Support students in areas such as articulation, expressive/receptive language, and social communication
  • Accurately document sessions and track student progress
  • Assist with implementing IEP goals and classroom carryover strategies
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and supervising SLPs to support student outcomes
