Position DescriptionThis a responsible professional position with limitedadministrative and supervisory duties at the unit level. Specific duties include testing, psychological evaluation and diagnosticservices as well as counseling assigned patient caseload. This position functions under the supervision of a higher level licensedpsychologist, but the individual has full professionalresponsibility for higher actions and advice.

Major/Essential Functions- Completes timely and clinically sound mental health screeningsand assessments using approved tools.
- Effectively manages an assigned caseload by providing consistent clinical contact, monitoring progress, and updatingtreatment plans as needed.
- Facilitates individual and group therapy counseling sessionsthat are appropriate for the patient population.
- Completes all clinical documentation accurately andobjectively, within the required time frames.
- Responds promptly and effectively to mental health crises,using appropriate clinical intervention. Ensures the safety and stability of the individual and documents actions completely.
- Performs all other assignments as directed.
