IT Specialist

Angel Reach is a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to breaking the generational cycle of abuse, neglect, and homelessness. Since its founding in 2004, the organization has grown from a grassroots effort into a multifaceted entity that supports aged-out foster youth, homeless youth, and families striving to keep children out of the foster care system. Angel Reach provides essential resources, skills training, and housing support to individuals aged 16-24, equipping them to live independently.

With a mission to help children and youth overcome challenges from broken systems and families, Angel Reach strives to empower its community to achieve their full potential.

This full-time, on-site IT Specialist role is based in Conroe, TX. The IT Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining network systems, ensuring cybersecurity measures are in place, and troubleshooting IT issues. The role includes supporting staff with technical challenges, maintaining hardware and software, and implementing network security protocols. You will work closely with team members to ensure technology systems run smoothly and securely within the organization.

• Proficiency in Network Administration and Network Security
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively
• Strong skills in Information Technology systems management and infrastructure
• Customer Service skills, with an emphasis on providing technical support to non-technical users
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Familiarity with nonprofit organizations or mission-driven work is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
