Key Responsibilities
- Provide first‑line technical support to staff, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop computers, printers, and other peripheral devices.
- Manage and resolve support tickets using the IT service management system.
- Assist with the deployment of new hardware and software, including imaging and setting up new computers.
- Ensure the security and confidentiality of patient and organizational data.
- Provide training and support to staff on IT‑related topics.
- Monitor and maintain system performance and security.
- Document IT procedures and policies, ensuring they are up‑to‑date and accessible.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issues and improve overall IT service delivery.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in desktop support or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with network infrastructure and IT service management tools.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certification in CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified:
Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or similar is a plus.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with multi‑functional printers.
- Background in a healthcare environment or experience with any Epic TDR related projects in the Houston area.
- Current/valid IT certifications.
This is a contract position based out of Conroe, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
