The Supply Chain Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily supply chain activities across inventory, logistics, and material flow to ensure that raw materials and finished goods move efficiently throughout the operation.

Working closely with the Production Planner, Production, Purchasing, Shipping, Receiving, and Sales, this role ensures that material availability, inventory levels, and logistics activities remain aligned with production priorities and customer requirements.

The Supply Chain Supervisor provides day-to-day guidance to supply chain personnel, monitors operational performance, identifies potential shortages, delays, inventory discrepancies, and other constraints, and coordinates timely resolution across departments.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused supervisory role that requires strong organization, analytical thinking, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to maintain accountability across multiple operational priorities.

• Work closely with the Production Planner to align material availability, inventory, and logistics with the established production schedule.
• Monitor raw material requirements and identify potential shortages or constraints before they impact production.
• Maintain visibility of material flow across raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Shipping, Receiving, and Sales to resolve supply chain issues and support operational priorities.
• Monitor raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory levels and accuracy.
• Oversee and support cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and investigation of discrepancies.
• Identify excess inventory, shortages, slow-moving materials, and other inventory risks.
• Ensure inventory transactions and records are accurately maintained in the ERP system.
• Follow up on inventory-related issues and coordinate corrective actions with the appropriate departments.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to support the timely movement of raw materials and finished goods.
• Oversee transportation and freight coordination, addressing delays or issues that could affect operations or customer commitments.
• Work closely with Shipping and Sales to maintain visibility of order status and delivery requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve freight efficiency, material movement, and order fulfillment.
• Provide day-to-day direction, guidance, and support to supply chain personnel.
• Establish clear priorities, monitor assigned activities, and ensure timely completion of operational tasks.
• Coordinate follow-up on open issues, ensuring action items are assigned and resolved.
• Support team development, accountability, and adherence to established procedures.
• Escalate critical shortages, delays, inventory discrepancies, or unresolved issues to management promptly.
• Monitor and report KPIs related to inventory accuracy, material availability, logistics, fulfillment, and service levels.
• Analyze recurring shortages, delays, inventory discrepancies, and supply chain bottlenecks to identify root causes.
• Recommend and support improvements to inventory accuracy, material flow, lead times, freight efficiency, and order fulfillment.
• Maintain accurate and timely ERP transactions, operational records, and supply chain reporting.
• Collaborate with operational teams to implement corrective actions and improve overall supply chain performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
