Floor Technician

Job Summary

Floor Technician – Texas Children's Hospital, The Woodlands (17600 I‑45, Conroe, TX). Full‑time, 2nd shift (5:00 pm–1:30 am, rotating weekends), online applications only. Pay: $14.00 per hour. Prior floor/carpet care experience preferred.

• Maintain knowledge of hard‑surface floor maintenance principles and use proper procedures on hard floor care, including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor‑care equipment and utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor surfaces.
• Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery, including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

• Previous experience as a floor‑care technician or related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor‑care equipment and techniques.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Frequently lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 lbs.
