Job Overview
As the Distribution Center Operations, Sr. Manager, you will lead operations at the Conroe, TX and Houston, TX locations, managing a multi‑million‑dollar P&L, driving efficiency, and building a Continuous Improvement roadmap that delivers measurable outcomes.
Responsibilities- Own a multi‑million‑dollar P&L and drive efficiency in a lean environment.
- Create and implement a Continuous Improvement roadmap for measurable outcomes.
- Establish and improve KPIs, staffing models, and core processes; analyze performance trends to identify opportunities and prioritize actions.
- Translate insights into operating plans and CI roadmaps with clear owners, actions, and measurable results.
- Partner with Operational Excellence, IQC, routing, and other support teams to strengthen end‑to‑end performance through disciplined execution, effective planning, and a customer‑first mindset.
- Lead transportation execution by managing vendors, optimizing routes, improving cube utilization, on‑time delivery planning, and ensuring contract compliance while delivering KPI improvements and cost savings.
- Promote a safe, secure, and engaged environment by administering policies consistently and modeling accountability across the operation.
- Plan, organize, schedule, forecast, and coordinate work to meet production schedules.
- Review and act on production, quality, and operational reporting to maintain high service levels.
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director.
- Core hours are 1st shift, but flexibility to work into 2nd shifts is required.
- Minimum 7 years of leadership experience in a Distribution or Manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with regulatory compliance (FDA, OSHA, DEA).
- Willingness to travel to other DCs as needed and between Conroe, TX and Houston, TX facilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience with Microsoft Access.
- Proven ability to analyze data and develop strategies based on insights.
- Innovative thinker with a track record of improving processes and reporting.
- Strong cross‑functional communication skills.
High School Diploma/GED.
CompensationPay Range: $82,940.00 – $ (base hourly rate or annual salary).
