Responsibilities- Safely handle and store raw materials, intermediates, and finished products in designated warehouse areas
- Assist in inventory control by processing incoming and outgoing packaged materials, accurately recording materials handled, and maintaining appropriate company records
- Support cycle counts and physical inventories; assist in investigation and resolving discrepancies related to shipments or inventory
- Monitor tank levels, tote usage, and packaging supplies to ensure adequate stock for production needs
- Adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all
- Ensures that materials are handled and stored appropriately to prevent damage and maintain product quality
- Identifies issues and coordinates appropriately with management to resolve any issues or obstacles that may arise during the shift
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of logistics, shipping/receiving, or warehouse operations experience – preferably in a chemical manufacturing environment
- Basic understanding of shipping documentation such as bill of lading, packing lists, and manifests
- Working knowledge of safe handling, labeling, and storage of hazardous materials (HAZMAT)
- Familiarity with inventory systems or ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an industrial environment (heat, cold, PPE requirements)
