Are you passionate about developing people and driving high standards in manufacturing? Do you bring a hands-on approach, strong technical expertise, and a mindset focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement?

We're looking for a proactive and engaging Trainer to join our team, supporting the development of our workforce in producing high-quality rubber moulded products to specification and target.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in coaching others to succeed.

About the Role

Based in our Conroe workshop and reporting to the Production Manager, you will play a key role in shaping capability across the production team. You'll deliver structured training, support on-the-job learning, and help embed best practices that drive safety, quality, and productivity.

This role will initially be Monday to Friday, dayshift, with the potential to transition to shift-based working in the future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging training programmes, inductions, and on-the-job coaching
  • Support the upskilling of employees across production processes
  • Promote a strong health & safety culture at all times
  • Drive productivity, quality standards, and right-first-time performance
  • Manage and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Keep training materials and records accurate and up to date
  • Act as a key point of contact for training-related queries
  • Work closely with HR and operational managers to identify and meet training needs
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the workshop
When not delivering training, you'll remain hands-on and support production activities as a Manufacturing Operator.

About You

We're looking for someone who combines technical expertise with a passion for developing others. You'll be confident influencing behaviours on the shop floor and bringing training to life in a practical, engaging way.

You will ideally have:
  • Proven experience within rubber moulding, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Hands-on experience with machinery, particularly compression presses or similar
  • A strong focus on health & safety, quality, and productivity
  • A mindset aligned to continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Experience in coaching, mentoring, or training others within a manufacturing environment
  • The ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
A Train the Trainer qualification (or similar) would be advantageous, but is not essential.

Working Pattern
  • Initially:
    Monday to Friday (dayshift)
  • Flexibility required for future transition to a three-shift rotation (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am)
Full description can be sent at request.
