Process TechnicianUTEX Industries is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Process Technician to support daily manufacturing operations by monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving production processes. The ideal candidate will ensure equipment and processes run efficiently, maintain product quality, and help drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and maintain manufacturing processes to ensure optimal performance and product quality
- Set up, operate, and adjust equipment according to production specifications
- Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions in a timely manner
- Perform routine inspections, testing, and data collection to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
- Document process changes, issues, and resolutions accurately
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Assist with equipment maintenance, calibration, and process validation activities
Support continuous improvement initiatives (lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, etc.)
- High school diploma or GED required;
Associate degree or technical certification preferred - [2+ years] of experience in a manufacturing or production environment (adjust based on level)
- Experience with process control systems, manufacturing equipment, or automation preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and specifications
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry, production systems)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience in Manufacturing, warehouse, or shipping
- Knowledge of GMP, ISO, or other regulatory standards
- Familiarity with PLCs, robotics, or automated systems
- Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma training is a plus
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to [25–50 lbs] as needed
- Comfortable working in a production/manufacturing environment
