About the RoleThe Mechanical/Assembly Technician plays a critical role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in mechanical assembly, installation, and maintenance in an industrial environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and safety protocols.
- Assemble, install, and align machinery and mechanical equipment according to blueprints, manuals, and engineering specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
- Diagnose mechanical problems using precision measuring instruments and troubleshoot issues to implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and repairs performed to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
The required skills enable the Mechanical/Assembly Technician to accurately interpret technical documents and assemble machinery with precision, ensuring all components fit and function correctly. Troubleshooting skills are essential for diagnosing mechanical failures and implementing timely repairs to minimize production downtime.
