Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week night shift contract requiring an active TX or compact license and one year of recent ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the ICU unit of a hospital

• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• 13-week contract assignment

• Caring for critically ill adult patients in an intensive care setting

• Deliver complex critical care to adult ICU patients

• Must provide complete profile and documentation as requested

• First-time travelers may be considered

• Holiday coverage may be required depending on assignment needs

Requirements

• Active TX or compact state RN license required

• Minimum of one year recent ICU nursing experience

• Current AHA or ARC BLS and ACLS certifications

• NIH Stroke Scale certification required

• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility—local candidates will not be considered

• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

• At least one professional reference required (two for Florida or Missouri applicants)
