Overview
Texas Oncology is looking for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our team! This full‑time position supports the Texas Urology Specialists at The Woodlands and Houston Willowbrook locations. Typical work week:
Monday‑Friday, 8 a.m.‑5 p.m. No weekends or major holidays.

Responsibilities- Direct care and management in outpatient/inpatient/surgical settings, including documentation, patient and family education, orders, diagnostics, medication prescribing, symptom management, counseling, collaboration with and referrals to other health care providers, and education of staff, students, and community.
- Interdependent practice with collaborative physicians and team.
- Proficient use of Electronic Health Record for care delivery, completing documentation per Texas Oncology policy and guidelines.
- Build strong collaborative relationships across the organization and local medical community.
- Perform diagnostic/therapeutic procedures as appropriate.
- Participate in tumor boards, institutional trainings, and meetings as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Educational development with programmatic training, including treatment review and coordination, survivorship, genetic consultations, high‑risk clinics, advanced care planning.
- Involvement in clinical research.
- Leadership roles regionally and statewide.

The ideal candidate will have the following background and experience.
- Nurse Practitioner – Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited nursing school and successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Level 1: 0‑3 years of experience;
Level 2: 3‑5 years;
Level Sr: 6+ years. RN state licensure; current registration with the State Board of Nursing. Current basic life support (BLS)/CPR certification required. - Physician Assistant – Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program and current NCCPA certification. Level 1: 0‑3 years;
Level 2: 3‑5 years;
Level Sr: 6+ years. Current state license as a Physician Assistant; BLS/CPR certification required. - Clinical Nurse Specialist – Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited nursing school and successful completion of an accredited Clinical Nurse Specialist program. Level 1: 0‑3 years;
Level 2: 3‑5 years;
Level Sr: 6+ years. RN state licensure; current registration with the State Board of Nursing; current state licensure as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. BLS/CPR certification required.
Full range of body motion, handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, eye‑hand coordination. Standing and walking for extended periods. Occasionally lifts/carries items weighing up to 40 lb. Requires corrected vision and hearing within normal range. Reasonable accommodations may be provided.
