Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Opportunity in Texas Are you an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a specialization in Wound Care? Days (Monday - Friday, 8a to 5p) Requirements: AANP/NCCPA Certified - Required Active TX License - Required Active ACLS, BLS - Required Completed an approved UHMS or NBDHMT Wound Care and HBOT Course (40 hours CME Credits) - Required Clean Malpractice/Background - Required At least one year of Wound Care experience - Highly Preferred Disclosure if provider has worked at any other CHI/Dignity facilities - Required COVID Vaccinated - Required Details:

Intellicure Average Visits per Day: 28 Duties:
Competency in wound care, including assessment, debridement, wound dressings, skin substitutes, and hyperbaric oxygen treatment. Evaluate and manage patients for wound care, ensuring delivered care meets current standards of practice. Coordinate the patient plan of care with the physician and the facility???s clinical disciplines to address patient needs, evaluate the effectiveness of care, and assess changes to the patient's medical condition to ensure healing outcome goals.

Initial and existing patient care assessment Debridement Wound dressings Skin substitutes Hyperbaric oxygen treatment Types of Cases:
Assessment and treatment of all types of non-healing wounds, burns, and delayed radiation injuries. Support Staff: RN's, Patient Care Tech's Reason for Coverage: FT provider will be out on FMLA.
