You will provide specialized plan‑of‑care interventions and serve as a patient‑care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys each day and leverage your skills and the hospital’s technology to directly impact patient wellbeing. This position supports the department with a focus on clinical, operational, and administrative excellence.

• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide care appropriate to the patient's condition and age.
• Complete and revise the interdisciplinary care plan for each patient.
• Document medical necessity and care in the medical record timely and accurately.
• Perform QI assessments in a timely manner.
• Assess the patient and plan care within set time frames and document findings according to policies.
• Supervise the shift and delegate tasks to staff as needed.
• Ensure compliance with nursing policies and procedures and deliver exemplary patient care.
• Monitor patients for changes in condition, respond appropriately, and notify physicians as needed.
• Follow hospital policy for medication administration.
• Interact with patients using empathy, dignity, and respect.
• Deliver quality nursing care to ensure that treatment‑plan goals are executed per hospital policies and demonstrated competencies.
• Assist or perform comprehensive nursing assessments on all patients.

• Associate’s degree in nursing required.
• Current Registered Nurse license as required by state regulations.
• 1‑year experience in a psychiatric health care facility preferred.
• CPR certification required within 30 days of employment.
• De‑escalation certification required within 30 days of employment.
• Experience with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, or geriatric patients preferred.
• Experience in patient assessments, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities.
