This position involves working in the Behavioral Health Division. The unit has a total of 96 beds. The patient ratio is 1 nurse to 12 patients. The patient population may include adults and geriatric individuals. Candidates should be prepared to work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. This is a hands-on role within a supportive team environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills.
An understanding of various psychiatric diagnoses and treatments is essential. Proper attire includes scrubs; jeans, t-shirts, hoodies, and open-toed shoes are not acceptable.
Must-have:
Must be at least 21 years of age. Preferred experience in a psychiatric health care facility. Direct experience working with chemical dependency. Experience with dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients preferred.
