Job Description:
The registered nurse in the Emergency Department is responsible for providing compassionate and empathetic care to patients. The role involves working with a team of healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct data collection and assessment of the patient condition
- Perform IV/Blood draws and moderate sedation
- Cardiac monitoring and administration of TNK
- Utilize equipment such as Baxter IV pumps and Belmont Rapid Infusers
Requirements:
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications
- Experience with Meditech EMR
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work every other weekend
