We are Looking forWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Part‑time RN – Infusion Nurse to join our CLS Health clinic in our North Houston area offices. The Infusion Nurse will be responsible for administering intravenous (IV) therapies, medications, blood products, and other infusions to patients in a safe, efficient, and caring manner. This position requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high‑quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Proficiently and independently assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document the daily care of assigned patients
- Proficiently execute physician's orders for all assigned patients
- Demonstrate critical thinking, creativity, and versatility in problem solving and handling complex situations
- Monitor fluid tubes, check infusions, and ensure that medications implemented do not counteract each other or cause patient harm
- Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, and maintain peripheral IV lines
- Administer medication, including mixing medications and inserting IVs while maintaining a safe environment
- Safely administer blood and blood products
- Assess patient progress, collaborating with other nursing staff when needed, in accordance with the nursing process and established plan of care
- Perform infusions and monitor patient status throughout the entire infusion, as well as manage emergency reactions
- Effectively communicate with medical, clinical, and clerical staff to ensure efficient operations of the clinic
- Effectively communicate with patients and visitors to resolve inquiries
- Assure proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal laws
- May travel to other CLS clinics as needed
- Perform related duties as required
- Graduate of an accredited professional nursing school with current Texas licensure
- B.S.N. Preferred
- Three (3) to five (5) years of clinical experience with one (1) year experience in a home health agency, preferred
- Understanding of regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations
- Adherence to HIPAA and maintenance of client confidentiality
