Registered Nurse, Behavioral Health

Overview

Woodland Springs, part of Lifepoint Health, welcomes experienced Registered Nurses (RN) to provide high‑quality psychiatric and behavioral health care in Conroe, Texas. Our mission is to improve community health through compassionate, evidence‑based treatment.

• Assess patients and develop care plans within set time frames, documenting findings per policy.
• Oversee and supervise the shift, delegating tasks such as group sessions, meal supervision, and close observation.
• Ensure nursing policies and procedures are followed, monitoring patients for changes in condition and responding appropriately, including notifying physicians.
• Administer medications per hospital policy.
• Provide empathetic, dignified, and respectful care.
• Deliver quality nursing care in accordance with treatment plans and hospital procedures.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments on all patients.

• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work well in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
• Preferred prior experience in a psychiatric health‑care facility with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, or geriatric patients.
• Current RN license in the state of employment.
• CPR and de‑escalation certification within 30 days of hire.
• Schedule:
  
  12‑hour shifts; full‑time day (7am‑7pm), full‑time night (7pm‑7am), and PRN.
