American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring transition, postpartum, and newborn experience.

• Work in a Labor and Delivery unit with 8 labor beds, 2 triage beds, 2 ORs, and 1 recovery room bed
• Unit staffed with CNCs, RNs, Transition RNs, Unit Secretaries, and CSTs across day and night shifts
• Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 2:1
• Uses GE monitors, Panda Warmers, Novi, and Neptune equipment
• EMR systems include CPN and Meditech
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment
• Required to work every other weekend
• Floating to Mother/Baby unit required

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• Minimum 1 year of recent L&D experience required
• Required experience in transition, postpartum, and newborn care
• Charge experience preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Provide care for laboring patients including vaginal deliveries and C-sections
• Care for newly delivered mothers and their newborns
• Best suited for team players who are motivated, independent, and flexible
• Royal Blue scrub color required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
