Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Provide urgent and comprehensive nursing care in the Emergency Department, ensuring prompt assessment and treatment of patients. Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver empathetic, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient conditions promptly and accurately upon arrival.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and other treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs, alarms, and equipment such as ventilators and monitors.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, and staff to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain patient and family comfort, offering compassionate support throughout treatment.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current state certification.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.
• Minimum of 1 year of emergency nursing experience preferred.
• Demonstrated compassion and empathy in patient care.
• Ability to work effectively in team-oriented environment.
• Flexible to float within the emergency department as needed.
