Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Provide advanced nursing care in the Emergency Department, ensuring timely and compassionate treatment for diverse patient conditions. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver quality emergency services aligned with hospital protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions rapidly upon arrival and prioritize care based on acuity levels.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to established protocols.
• Monitor patient vitals, responses to treatments, and update records accurately in the medical system.
• Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and staff to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, treatments, and aftercare instructions.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards in all clinical activities.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN licensure with a minimum of 1 year of emergency department experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Proven ability to handle high-stress situations with empathy and professionalism.
• Strong teamwork skills and adaptability to shift changes.
• Knowledge of Meditech EMR and critical care equipment.
