Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, every other weekend required.
Job Description:
The Emergency Department is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients. The ideal candidate will possess compassion and empathy and will be a team player, ready to collaborate with our diverse team of healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, implement care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Perform procedures such as IV/blood draws, moderate sedation, and cardiac monitoring.
- Utilize various equipment, including Baxter IV pumps, GE monitors, and ventilators.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications are mandatory.
