Quality Control Inspector- $25.00- $30.00/HR DOE

A local company in Conroe, TX is searching for a Quality Control Inspector to assist in the company’s daily operations. This is a temp-hire position in a fast-paced environment and the ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality control.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented QC Inspector who will perform inspections and testing of machined parts, subassemblies, and finished products to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements. You will also support calibration activities, maintain quality documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Summary of essential job functions:

• Inspect machined parts, subassemblies, and finished products for compliance with specifications and quality standards
• Verify incoming materials and customer-owned parts meet engineering and customer requirements
• Calibrate and verify precision measuring instruments, thread gauges, and testing equipment
• Maintain inspection records, calibration documentation, quality logs, and nonconformance reports
• Assist with maintaining quality management system documentation
• Perform visual inspections and applicable NDT testing when required
• Utilize CMM equipment where applicable
• Support additional quality-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of precision measuring tools and inspection equipment
• Knowledge of shop math and quality control processes
• Familiarity with ISO quality systems
• Experience with CMM equipment is a plus
• Experience with NDT processes is a plus
• Technical school training or certifications are a plus
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
