Food Service Worker​/Correctional Facility Montgomery County Jail

Selrico Services Inc. is seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to join our team at the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe, TX. This role involves preparing and serving meals within the correctional facility, ensuring all food safety and sanitation standards are met while maintaining a secure and efficient environment.

• Prepare, cook, and serve meals according to the dietary guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Follow all correctional facility protocols and safety procedures to ensure the security of the workplace.
• Assist with inventory management and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions.
• Work cooperatively with facility staff and inmates to create a positive and professional work environment.

• Previous experience in food service preferred, especially in correctional or institutional settings.
• Ability to work in a secure environment and follow facility rules and guidelines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts as required.
• Must pass background checks and any required security clearances.
