Role Summary

As our Associate Manager, you will support The General Manager and management team in achieving goals by delivering outstanding sales, service and operational expertise. You will serve as a role model for maintaining all aspects of in store and property upkeep and operations. You will guide needed merchandise replenishment through close supervision and communication to ensure appropriate stock coverage in all areas in conjunction with delivering personal sales targets and supporting business driving tactics to meet Company sales and service targets.

Key Responsibilities

Executes and ensures store standards are met and maintained, including visuals, signage, cleanliness, accurate inventory management, and consumer resolutions.

• Drive productivity and profits through support of Company objectives maintaining a lead role in demonstrating excellence in product knowledge, sales, service and client development standards while training others
• Meets store and division KPI targets and coaches team members to show continuous improvement.
• Routinely facilitates daily opening and closing activities replenishment and inventory control activities while ensuring all team members are active participants.
• Is committed to partnering with leadership to plan and execute events and in kitchen demos that cause consumer engagement and conversion.
• Creates and ensure a positive environment where all associates are treated fairly and with dignity in accordance with our Mission, Vision and Values.
• Communicates current business results and partners to create action plans for business improvement.

• Must be 18 years of age
• Flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be available to work 40 hours per week, including two regularly scheduled shifts on the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and two during the week (Monday to Friday).
• Physical ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time, climb ladders, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
• Prior retail sales experience, preferably in a specialty retail environment
• Authentic passion around cooking, baking, and entertaining
• Desire to develop and grow into future leadership roles
• Excellent communication, organization and leadership skills
• Superior critical thinking skills to creatively identify challenges and develop action plans in a timely manner
• Great time management skills and ability to execute multiple tasks and appropriately manage competing priorities
• 2-3 years of previous retail management experience or management experience in a customer service or hospitality related field
