Pay & Commission

Hourly rate: $10.00 to $13.00 per hour.
Commission structure: Earn up to 8% on transactions, averaging an additional $2.97 per hour on top of the hourly rate.

We are seeking entry‑level, part‑time Retail Sales Associates in pawn store locations nationwide. A Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire store staff to ensure excellent customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The associate greets, engages, and assists customers with sales, loans, and other transactions involving jewelry, general merchandise, tools, electronics, firearms, and more.

The role offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Pay varies with location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and recommend financial solutions.
• Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
• Maintains a clean, stocked sales floor and merchandise displays.
• Processes sales and loan transactions per policies and regulations.
• Handles cash and negotiable items per established procedures.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Collaborates with coworkers and managers respectfully.
• Creates a positive customer experience with all staff.
• Completes assigned training.
• Undertakes related duties as assigned.

• Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting).
• Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification.
• May assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage areas.
• Minimum age: 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, and work in a team.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficient basic math calculations.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Flexible to work multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Willing to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

The commission incentive plan is proprietary. Pawnbrokers may earn 2–8% based on gross profit of personal performance. Details provided during the interview.

Pay rates will not be below any applicable local minimum wage requirements.

Employment requires agreement to a binding arbitration agreement to resolve disputes.
