Candidates should possess the ability to:

• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with the general public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate

Under direct supervision, the Seafood Clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service. The role involves assisting customers, setting up, maintaining and cleaning seafood display cases, cleaning, filling and rotating the seafood displays, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store, with essential functions including lifting, standing, walking, kneeling, and visual and auditory requirements.
