As a meat team member, you’ll cut and display meat items, make critical quality decisions, and provide a friendly, efficient customer experience.

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicate with team members and be flexible to support other areas as needed.
• Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of floor operations, back‑room procedures, product safety, sanitation, inventory management, and equipment maintenance; prepare meat products (cutting, grinding, wrapping, trimming) to established standards and maintain product quality.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilize handheld technology for real‑time business decisions related to production, training, and quality.
• Be an Owner: Commit to operational excellence by maintaining the work area, ensuring quality and date‑control standards, securing merchandise, eliminating waste, assisting members with purchasing decisions, and properly packaging, labeling, and storing products.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member’s experience, modeling high‑quality service, executing the basics at the highest level, and exhibiting energy, commitment, and passion.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics by implementing action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying these in all business processes.

Hourly wage: $17.00 – $25.00 per hour.
* The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to this location.

Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
