The Rental Repair and Maintenance Technician maintains and repairs electrical rental equipment to ensure it is safe, functional, and ready for customer use.
Responsibilities- General repair, maintenance, and rentalization of electrical rental equipment.
- Welding and fabrication work on electrical rental equipment as needed.
- Verifying and completing work orders.
- Work in other areas when needed.
Equipment includes:
Automatic and manual transfer switches, distribution panels, dry/padmount/substation transformers, cable, motor starters, breakers, splitters, and more across a range of voltages and amperage levels.
- Previous welding experience required, minimum 1yr.
- Welding certification is a plus.
- Able to perform forklift operation.
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Cooperative attitude towards all internal and external customers.
- Help team members resolve questions and assist with the work load.
- A dependable and strong work ethic; works safely.
- Professional language and conduct at all times.
- Some work beyond regular hours required to attend to after-hours calls
