NOV - 500 Conroe Park West Drive - Responsibilities:
Weld and hardface components on weld positioner using arc, hardfacing, brazing and tacking as required;
Read engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work orders to plan layout and operations;
Prepare all material surfaces to be welded and position/work pieces using hoists, cranes, or hand tools;
Monitor welding processes to prevent overheating, warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of material;
Identify and document job numbers and piece marks on materials and perform finishing steps such as grinding and degreasing as needed
